Whoever wins the final slab of the break chooses which mystery slab we rip open live.
The card’s type decides the winner — match it and the card is yours. Everyone else still gets shiny cardboard: a holo or non-holo English card.
Your randomized type is your ticket — if the revealed card matches it, you take the hit home.

Every Surprise Set follows the same format — numbered spots, every number gets product, a share of spots land a sealed hit. The number of spots, the products, the hits and the odds change with every show. Below is an example of how a typical 500-spot set plays out.

Numbers are assigned at random by Whatnot — never by us. Nobody knows what lands where.
Your spot lands either a sealed product or an English or Chinese Pokémon pack — nobody walks away with nothing.

The rules every break, set and order runs on.
Every break, Surprise Set number and order is final — no refunds and no cancellations once a purchase is made.
Breaks run on Whatnot and follow Whatnot’s Terms of Service. Per those terms, every non-winning slot still receives a card.
Every purchased number receives one product. Numbers are randomized by Whatnot, never by us. Odds vary from set to set.
Whatnot orders ship within 3 days. We ship internationally — transit time varies by destination. Shipping cost is set by your bid on stream, or shown clearly in the Buy Now shop.

Our story
A family-run Pokémon shop in Rocklin, Northern California.
I’m John Isaac Golden, and I started TheGoldenChase for one simple reason: to build something that supports my son. Pokémon has been part of my life since I was a kid — that never really went away, and it turned into a way to provide for my family doing something I love.
Today we run live breaks out of Rocklin, California — sourcing sealed product, hunting premium singles, and opening it all on stream. No gimmicks, no mystery about where the cards come from. Just good product, honest breaks, and a community that keeps showing up.
